School of Supernatural Ministry (CHR 263/264)

Start Date

07 January 2019

Prerequisite: DSP 211 & 212  (A successfully completed Discipleship Training School)

This powerful school is designed to train workers in the Kingdom to walk in the presence and power of God. We owe the world a demonstration of God’s Kingdom. Students will learn how to walk in the Kingdom Culture of Honour, Humility, Generosity, and Risk Taking. This is the culture which attracts His presence. As students renew their mind and learn their true Identity as Sons and Daughters of God they will begin to see the supernatural released. Signs and Wonders will flow. In this school we want to break the boxes of our small belief. Students will learn to take risks in moving out in prophecy, the spiritual gifts, healing the sick, healing people’s memories, sharing the gospel, making disciple making movements and believing for miracles as Jesus told the disciples to do when he left.

This school is perfect for leaders or newcomers in almost any ministry in Y whether you are in children's ministry, mercy, Urban, SBS, church planting, worship, or the arts. The question is: do you want to see God show up in your ministry in a much more powerful way? If so, come join this powerful school.

The DTS is designed to encourage students in personal character development, cultivating their relationship with God and identifying their unique gifts and callings. Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness are special emphases throughout the course, preparing the students to evangelize and disciple current and future generations, answering the call to “Go into all the world and teach (make disciples of) all nations.” (Matthew 28:19). The curriculum is in the following six major categories:

  • God’s nature and character
  • God’s intention for individuals
  • Peoples and nations
  • Seeing all of life from God’s perspective
  • Redemption, sin, and the Cross
  • God’s family – the Church
  • God’s world - His call and commission

Focused DTS: In some locations the DTS is offered with a particular focus, such as the Crossroads DTS, Operation Year DTS, University DTS, Sports DTS, Arts DTS, etc. Credit will be given for this course with satisfactory completion of DSP 212.

Discipleship Training School (DTS) DSP 211

YWAM has been running Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) all over the world since 1974. The Classic DTS at Youth With A Mission Lonavala focuses on the timeless, original heart of the DTS: Knowing God and making Him Known. Go deeper in your relationship with God and explore how He wants to use you. The stunning location of Lonavala, in the Sahyadri ranges surrounded by majestic mountains, is the perfect place to experience a transforming encounter with your Creator.

The first half of DTS, Lecture Phase, has daily lectures with amazing teaching from guest speakers on topics such as:

  • Character & Nature of God
  • Hearing God’s Voice
  • Relationships
  • Holy Spirit
  • Destiny
  • Lordship
  • Missions
  • Forgiveness and much more.

There are also worship, prayer and bible study times, base work duties and community outreach to help you live out your faith in practical ways. Small groups and one-on-one times also encourage spiritual growth. All in a community ‘live-learn’ environment.

Then, Outreach Phase allows you to put everything you have learned into practice. Pack your bags for the opportunity to travel and experience a variety of different ministries and develop skills as you continue the process of figuring out what plans God has specifically for you to impact this world for Jesus.

Join others from all over the world to participate in the great Commission as you are trained to become a disciple of Jesus so you can go and disciple the nations.
